Project P.I.T.T. Walkthrough: All 4 Phases
Project P.I.T.T. does not have levels — it has one room that keeps changing. You stand in a brutalist facility around a hole called The Maw. Everything that goes in pays money, faster dumps pay more, and the hole grows as you feed it. This walkthrough covers the whole arc on one save: nothing in the game is locked behind a second playthrough.
The core loop
- Make or buy products — rubber ducks first, stranger things later.
- Move them into The Maw — hands, broom, fans, magnets, pistons, cannons, or a golf club.
- Keep the combo alive — money comes from combos and chains, not single ducks.
- Spend at the terminal — new tools, toys, machines and products unlock as you feed and explore.
The single most important habit: spend, don’t hoard. A new tool prints more than a fat bank balance ever will. See the tools and upgrades database for what each unlock does.
Phase 1 — Ducks
The intern floor: a press, your hands, and a lot of yellow.
- Craft one duck and throw it in — that’s your first achievement and your first pay.
- Use the press until the first money unlocks appear. Don’t wander off hunting secrets yet.
- Buy throw, then a broom or the first fan. Hands-only is the tutorial, not a build.
- Unlock the Cash Register in the terminal as soon as it appears, and turn on the Automater the moment you have it — point its output at a ramp or fan into The Maw, and stand out of the shaft so your body doesn’t clog it.
- Your first working factory is one Automater, a short panel funnel, and one fan pointed at the pit. Buy sticky tools right after panels so the funnel stays where you put it.
If money feels slow, you are feeding singles, the fan is pointed at a wall, or you are standing in the output. Fix the lane — gambling crates are a bonus, not the engine.
Phase 2 — Cash Registers
New product, same rules. Swap the lane input: ducks stop being optimal once registers appear. Keep one dump target — two half-lanes leak more than they print. This is also a good window to explore: cameras, the observation window and the first gambling crates are all findable now.
The mid-game gate: fuses, 200 kg, percent pipe
The catwalk route above the floor is the game’s hidden spine, and three checkpoints gate it:
- Three fuses hidden up high — on metal beams, catwalks and light fixtures. Fly up (holding an object while jumping is intended flight) and slot all three into the fuse box. Full locations in the fuse guide.
- The weighing platform — it wants 200 kg, kilograms not item count. Cheapest loads are worked out on the item weights page.
- The percent pipe — a chute with a % bar that raw ducks leave at 0%. That is intended: it wants later-phase or assembled products. Don’t stand there stuffing ducks into it.
None of this blocks the main floor. If the pipe sits at 0%, go back to the shop, keep upgrading, and return with better products.
Phase 3 — Piñatas
Unlock the Piñata and smash it with the bat — the candy is a product too, so dump both. Phase 3 originally dropped scripted debris that could wreck automation lines; the developer removed that event in the August 20 hotfix after player feedback. Leftover rubble from the phase transition still lands on old builds — the debris cleanup guide covers pushing it into the pit with the later fans.
Phase 3 is not “throw more ducks at the percentage pipe”. It is upgrade + feed until the facility moves.
Phase 4 — Anomalies and assembly
The late game adds the Anomaly, reality-bending tools (gravity inverter, orbit tool, portals), and assembly — pieces that snap together into the objects the upstairs pipes actually want. The anomaly guide and automation builds cover the endgame factory shapes.
Endings
Feeding The Maw far enough triggers the first ending sequence — and the game keeps going after it. There is a second, real ending, plus a separate secret ending route through the elevator. Details without early spoilers on the endings page, and the full hidden route on the secret ending page.
Common walls
| Symptom | Fix |
|---|---|
| Combo dies around 80 | You’re leaking or standing in the shaft — funnel + fan, then dump |
| Pipe stuck at 0% | Ducks are the wrong food; upgrade the shop or assemble |
| ”I SEE YOU” on every climb | Cameras — smash them or find the pillar-end lights (secrets) |
| Factory buried after phase change | Rebuild with the new fan tier; push rubble into the pit |
| FPS dead | Retro filter off, details LOW (performance fixes) |
| Stuck in geometry | Pause menu → Unstuck. Don’t restart the save |
