Project P.I.T.T. Progression: What to Do Next
Project P.I.T.T. never posts objectives. The facility moves when you feed The Maw enough and keep buying unlocks — so “what do I do next?” almost always has the same answer: make more money, spend all of it. Here is the phase-by-phase version.
The four phases
| Phase | Product | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| 1 | Rubber Ducks | Press, broom, fans, first Automater, cash register unlock |
| 2 | Cash Registers | The pit grows; registers out-earn ducks |
| 3 | Piñatas | Bat + candy; phase transition drops rubble on old builds |
| 4 | Anomalies | Reality-bending tools, assembly, the late economy |
Each new phase’s product replaces the last as the money engine. Keep your lane, swap the input — the automation guide has the standard shapes.
”Nothing is happening” checklist
- Is everything in the terminal bought? Grey items still need a feed or exploration gate; everything else, buy. New machines also light up the dark outer rooms.
- Are you feeding the current phase’s product? Ducks past Phase 1 are nostalgia, not income.
- Is the combo alive during dumps? Singles don’t move the counter meaningfully.
- Did a phase change bury your factory? Rebuild with the newer fans — they can push debris into the pit.
The mid-game gate
Somewhere in Phase 2–3 you’ll find the upstairs layer: three fuses → the 200 kg platform → the percent pipe. Two things about it:
- It is the hidden spine, not the main quest. The main floor progresses on feed volume alone.
- The percent pipe reading 0% on ducks is intended. It counts higher-quality items for significantly more — come back with later-phase or assembled products. Several players report Anomalies as the reliable food for it; the game itself never names the requirement, so treat “better products move it more” as the rule.
Late game
Phase 4 adds assembly: parts snap together, and those assembled objects are what the upstairs pipes actually want. From there the remaining goals are the completionist ones — combo x300, 400 products/min, 15,000 lifetime fed, one trillion dollars, buy-everything — all covered with methods on the achievements page, and the two-stage finale on the endings page.
Money benchmarks
The trillion-dollar achievement exists, so the economy is meant to go vertical. If you’re grinding linearly, you’re missing a multiplier: combo bonuses, chains/strikes, better products, or the gambling-crate lucky ducks. Crate prices climb the more you buy — they’re a bonus, not a business model.
