Project P.I.T.T. FAQ

All Questions

What is Project P.I.T.T.?

Project P.I.T.T. is a first-person physics sandbox by solo developer Froke, published by Pretty Soon. You play an intern who crafts rubber ducks and feeds them to a growing corporate pit called The Maw, building automation lines and chaining combos for profit. It released on Steam on August 19, 2026 for $9.99.

Is it "Project Pitt" or "Project P.I.T.T."?

The official Steam title is Project P.I.T.T. (with periods). Players usually type "project pitt" or even "project pit". It has nothing to do with The Pitt, the HBO medical drama, or with Brad Pitt — this is an indie game about feeding rubber ducks to a hole.

Is Project P.I.T.T. on mobile, Android or iOS?

No. Project P.I.T.T. is only sold on Steam for Windows, macOS and Linux. There is no official mobile version, so any "Project P.I.T.T. APK" or mobile download you find is unofficial at best and malware at worst.

Is Project P.I.T.T. coming to PS5, Xbox or Switch?

There is no console version and no announced console port. The game supports DualShock and DualSense controllers on PC, which may be why console availability rumors keep coming up. Steam is the only store — it is not on Epic Games Store or GOG either.

Does Project P.I.T.T. have multiplayer or co-op?

No. It is a single-player game. Steam lists it as single-player only, with Steam Cloud saves and Family Sharing supported.

Is Project P.I.T.T. free? How much does it cost?

The full game costs $9.99 USD (€9.99, £9.09, ¥1,350 JPY, ¥36 CNY) with a 15% launch discount during the first two weeks after the August 19, 2026 release. A free demo remains available on Steam.

Is the Project P.I.T.T. demo still available?

Yes. The developer confirmed the demo stays up after launch, so you can try the intern job before buying. The full game adds three extra phases, 13 new toys, 8 new tools and 3 new products over the demo.

Is Project P.I.T.T. a horror game?

Not officially — Steam tags it Action, Casual, Indie and Simulation. The brutalist facility, surveillance cameras and the ever-growing Maw give it an unsettling edge, but there are no jump scares or combat.

Does Project P.I.T.T. support mods?

There is no Steam Workshop support and no official modding tools. Any balance changes come through official patches like update 1.0.5.

Can I play Project P.I.T.T. on Steam Deck?

Yes. The game is Steam Deck Verified, confirmed by the developer in the launch FAQ. See our Steam Deck page for settings notes.

Where is the official Project P.I.T.T. community?

The developer runs an official Discord (linked from the Steam page) with sneak peeks and feedback channels, and the subreddit r/ProjectPitt opened around launch. Bug reports get picked up fast — the Phase 3 debris event was removed within a day of player feedback.
